The IRS is requiring some tax clients to verify their Identity before releasing their refund. The verification only takes one minute to complete. If your client has not received their refund then you should follow-up with them immediately to assist with the verification. They can receive the refund in 7 -10 days after the verification is completed but will not receive the refund if they never complete the verification. You will not receive your commission until the client is verified and the return is funded by the IRS.
